Rooted to Rise: Leo season, Jupiter in Leo & the courage to become yourself
There are seasons in life when we’re asked to heal. There are seasons when we’re asked to be seen. That season is now.
This year its message feels especially strong. Jupiter, the planet of growth, abundance, and expansion, is moving through Leo, while the south and north nodes shift onto the Leo- Aquarius axis. Together, they mark a collective turning point, a call into a new way of being. This also coincided with the Aquarius full moon (July 29, 2026). This moon acted like a mirror, revealing where we’ve been shrinking to fit spaced that no longer feel right. It revealed the places where we’ve been choosing acceptance over authenticity.
The invitation is simple, stop trying to become someone else, and start becoming more fully you. Every zodiac season carries a lesson. Leo’s is very direct: I Am
Not I should be. Or I hope to become.. Not one day. Just I AM
There is power in that. Because before we can build the life we want, we have to believe we’re allowed to live it.
Who are you when no one else’s expectations define you?
Leo energy isn’t about ego. It’s about essence. The courage to create without apology, to lead from the heart, to love without holding back, and to be fully visible in your own life.
Now Jupiter. Jupiter is the great expander. It expands everything it touches, and in Leo, it magnifies confidence, creativity, joy, leadership, and heart led expression. Expansion always asks something of us. It pulls us to begin something, to speak up, share our work, take a risk, say yes to something bigger, Most of all to stop minimizing our presence. Life expands in direct proportion to belief in what’s possible. It’s pushing to become more aligned with our inner and outer world. Who are you at your core and how can you live and expand in that space.
As we move through the rest of Leo season, let this be a time to root more deeply into who you truly are. the more grounded we become in our values, our truth, and our authentic selves, the easier it is to rise with confidence instead of seeking validation. We don’t have to force our growth. We deepen our roots, and from that place expansion becomes inevitable.
Stop hiding the person you’ve always been.
Journal questions:
Where in my life have I been choosing acceptance over authenticity?
Where am I ready to stop shrinking and take up space?
What would change if I truly believed, “I am enough exactly as I am”?
Affirmation:
I am open to expanding into all that I am meant to be. I trust that my authentic light is enough. As I honor who I truly am, I rise with courage, confidence, and love.
